My-eSAT was founded in Thousand Oaks, CA in 2008 with the ideal of making the very best SAT preparation review class easily accessible and affordable to all students. In today’s generation, the competition for the top SAT scores is fiercer than ever. My-eSAT understands the importance of SAT scores for each student’s future. My-eSAT’s founding team scored exceptionally on the SAT, through long personal journeys of hard work and various SAT review courses. Through the journey, we realized the importance of quality teaching and an effective course for unleashing a student’s raw potential. The My-eSAT team is passionate about sharing what they have learned through their own personal experience. My-eSAT instructors work individually with students to help them reach their highest score possible, opening doors for college, scholarships, and beyond.

Our Founding Team:

Dorothy Li, President and Co-Founder

Dorothy is the President and Co-Founder of My-eSAT. Dorothy is driven by her own long journey through various SAT courses to offer students an improved SAT prep program. She is passionate about providing a top-tier SAT prep program that is easily accessible and affordable to all students. Dorothy scored a 2350 overall on the SAT (old SAT I and SAT II Writing combined) and was selected to be a National Merit Finalist in 2002. She began her career in education as a volunteer tutor for underprivileged children in Oakland and has since gained a total of three years of physical classroom and online teaching experience. Dorothy is trained by College Board to teach the 2010 version of the SAT I.

Dorothy has a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley. She worked in public accounting for 2 years with BDO Seidman, LLP and is qualified to sit for the CPA. Dorothy enjoys reading, writing, and working with youth – interests that make her excited to work with the students of My-eSAT.

Diana Li, Vice President and Co-Founder

Diana is the Vice President and Co-Founder of My-eSAT. She brings experience working with online service companies, including previous experience with online marketing company, TwiceVerified, Inc., and an online social networking company, WooMe, Inc. She is passionate about utilizing the innovative technology to bring quality teaching to students.

Diana is trained by the College Board to teach the 2010 version of the SAT I. Also, she holds the acclaimed CELTA Certification by Cambridge University to teach English as a Foreign Language. She has three years of tutoring and teaching experience, including one year of online teaching experience.

Diana has a B.A. in Economics from University of California, Berkeley. She scored a 2280 overall on the SAT (old SAT I and SAT II Writing combined) and qualified as a National Merit Finalist in 2004.

Harold Randall, Curriculum Developer

Harold is a curriculum developer and instructor for My-eSAT. He has a B.S. in Business Administration at UC Berkeley and expects to graduate from Harvard Law School in 2010. Harold has one year of teaching experience, instructing an undergraduate economics course at Harvard University.

Harold has worked for the law firms Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, & Flom, LLP and Holland & Knight, LLP. Additionally, he has been involved with the Prison Legal Assistance Project and the Harvard Defenders. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball, reading Greek mythology, and fantasy sports.

Nancy Wang, Curriculum Developer

Nancy is a curriculum developer and instructor for My-eSAT. She scored a 2320 overall on the SAT (old SAT I and SAT II Writing combined) and was selected to be a National Merit Finalist in 2003. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Education from UCLA. She has over 6 years of experience in tutoring, teaching, and working with youths, including teaching for Kaplan, Inc. and the Breakthrough Collaborative Summer Institute. She strongly believes in every student's ability to learn and potential to succeed.

Nancy loves poetry, grammar, writing, and all things related to language. She is also fluent in Chinese and Spanish. Nancy holds a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA.

Mindy Sun Li, CFO

With more than twenty years of corporate and business experience, Mindy is the CFO of My-eSAT. She is passionate about helping students succeed by enriching their academic learning experience.

Mindy holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer in the State of California. She worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Hughes Aircraft Company for about ten years before she became CFO at Li & Associates, Inc., a Structural Consulting Engineer firm.

Stori Hybbeneth, Consultant

Stori is a consultant and advisor at My-eSAT. She brings more than ten years of online training experienced as well as her expertise in Cisco WebEx e-Learning technology. Stori has worked with the team members at My-eSAT to develop a high-quality, fully interactive Live Online teaching system.

Stori holds a B.S. from University of Colorado and has received further education from Jones International University and ROI Institute.
