Although live virtual tutoiring is a relatively new concept, almost everyone with a home/school computer already has the technological requirements to take a class with us. That means, if you are reading this right now, you very likely can attend any My-eSAT virtual class within minutes. My-eSAT uses Adobe Connect Classroom, an extremely easy-to-use platform, that requires no downloads or plug-ins and can be accessed by a student in under a minute.
What you will need:
1. Access to a home or school computer.
2. High-speed internet. The typical cable or DSL package is great.
3. Earpiece with mic (or a computer with built-in mic). Don't worry, we got you covered. With every My-eSAT course, a complimentary pair of earphones with mic are mailed to each student.
Got a PC or Mac? Great. My-eSAT classrooms support all major operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX and AIX Operating Systems.
What is also recommended:
1. Access to a scanner or fax machine. Students have the option of emailing or faxing in their hand-written essays. However, the easiest option is for the students to just type their essays directly in the text box in our online answer sheet!
